
Alexis Tepe is a graphic designer who utilizes typography, illustration, and photography to transform captivating messages into visual understanding and experience. As a researcher and analyst, Alexis carefully constructs her compositions gently and intentionally guiding the viewers throughout each element of her work; She is mindful of the target audience, the customer’s ideology and the purpose of the work, conveying it in a thought provoking manner.
Always a proponent of the exciting and moving story, Alexis often draws in viewers with drama and mystery or refreshing and endearing charm. She employs open and softly spoken imagery that capitalizes on color and white space manipulation to develop tone and convey meaning.
Alexis produces a variety of products including brand identities, motion graphics, print design, editorial design, signage, and advertising. While focusing on digital mediums, she also regularly incorporates hands-on practices into her work, as a method of research and development.
She has six years experience in Adobe and digital design and is currently majoring in Graphic Design at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a minor in Computer Science. In the future she hopes to work on growing her visual storytelling in entertainment illustrative work, particularly game and book design.
