Utility Box Art Project

Our approach to this project is to give a substantial display of the wondrous and extremely variant insect world, to inspire and encourage viewers of the world's diversity and the important uniqueness of all organisms. Furthermore the insect rendering serves to represent Cal Poly's own diversity in cultures and studies, as well as the campus's motto of "learning by doing" through its encouragement to step out and investigate the world around us. We truly believe that public art serves to bring joy and intrigue to a community and it is important to add beauty to the neighborhood or, in this case, the campus around us.
